Post 10 by Heavy Metal Girl 85 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Friday, 26-Jan-2007 20:05:53

hmmmmm this is a tough one ...* thinking * what food can't I live without? I'll have to say any type of junk food and of course sausage and pizza. I know you only said food, but I have many different foods I can't live without.

Post 11 by SensuallyNaturallyLiving4Today (LivingLifeAndLovingItToo) on Tuesday, 30-Jan-2007 17:39:42

Hey, you took mine. My first gut reaction was Indian food, but seeing as it's all ready been taken I'll go with, gelato, real gelato from Italy, although the gelato in Austria, near the boarder with Italy in the Alps was almost as good.

Post 12 by jessmonsilva (Taking over the boards, one topic at a time.) on Tuesday, 30-Jan-2007 17:45:54

Post 13 by ablindgibsongirl (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Wednesday, 31-Jan-2007 17:16:19

Really good chinese food. Stoner-style, you know the sweet and sour pork that's really just like chicken nuggets with the sauce. And dim sum. What would be considered Boznian food?

Post 14 by dream lady (move over school!) on Saturday, 17-Feb-2007 8:26:26

Well, the beverage I couldn't live without is coffee. And, I have to agree with chocoholics everywhere. I can't do without chocolate.

Post 15 by PorkInCider (Wind assisted.) on Saturday, 17-Feb-2007 10:01:22

Well, I have lots of favourite foods but I'm sure I could live without them, including Indian, Italia and the like, but the one thing I couldn't do without that I can have with or in almost anything, and that's meat. Life would be hell without meat. I will ocasionally eat vegitarian dishes, but for example, a vegie currie, just doesn't do it, I always feel something is missing, the something is meat.

Post 16 by Resonant (Find me alive.) on Saturday, 17-Feb-2007 12:24:15

Tea! I just couldn't function without it!
Curry is also pretty essential, and fresh fruit. And I'd miss chocolate, or at least, the possibility of chocolate. Knowing it exists is sometimes better than the real thing.

Hmm...I can think of many foods which I would not want to live without, but the first one that comes to mind right now is pickles, more specifically, dill pickles. (I am really not a fan of sweet pickles for the most part, but I will eat them on occasion.) This has been the case for as long as I can remember, as demonstrated during my first grade year when I chose to dress up as a pickle for Halloween. (for any of those of you who care, the outfit, designed by my grandmother and aunt, consisted of a green felt body suit with a Vlasic label on its front and covered with halves of styrofoam balls spray-painted green to represent the bumps found on the surfaces of pickles, as well as a matching green felt hat with a stem.) This was just the first of a succession of non-traditional Halloween costumes of mine, but that's a subject for another topic. Anyway, 12 years later, pickles still remain one of my favorite foods (as one would clearly notice by looking at my hamburgers, which usually look more like pickle burgers with a meat patty) and I doubt that I will grow tired of them in the near future.

I like sweet pickles. never cared for dill

Post 28 by HotPerro (I live and breathe the board) on Saturday, 01-Dec-2007 4:44:13

Not many beeves have been spared in the making of my body, so I could not live without it. Also, mole, a traditional Mexican spicy sauce, which, one of it's many ingredients is chocolate. As far as drinks, CocaCola, and any good, dark beer.

Post 29 by SFAIdol (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 12-Jan-2008 16:03:10

I can not live without fries, Dr. Pepper, and anything with chicken, except for chicken fahitas.

Post 30 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Sunday, 13-Jan-2008 0:49:45

I cannot live without fries, chips, most cheeses, popcorn, and...think that's it.

Post 31 by blw1978 (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Sunday, 13-Jan-2008 16:36:41

As far as foods, I can't live without: french fries, angel food cake, key lime pie, really good grilled burgers, and many other foods. I can not and will not live without coca-Cola. If I don't have at least one a day, I'll get a horrible headache. I also can't live without a good beer. Especially Sunshine Wheat.

Post 32 by Lindsay3.14 (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Monday, 14-Jan-2008 6:10:16

Oh yes, as much as I couldn't live without pickles, popcorn would have to be a very close second.

Post 33 by flcomputergeek (Its my opinion, take it or leave it. ) on Monday, 14-Jan-2008 11:26:17

chocolate, popcorn, rice, dr. pepper, so many more. I love to eat.

I ain't attached to foods like so, but I'd say bread of some kind and chilly peppers for spicing up foods.
